Rose's Wrist Warmers

Rose’s Wrist Warmers are done, and the little grump is thrilled!  They fit her like a… well… glove, and they’re so soft!  She likes that the mitts are a bit longer than others that I’ve made for her, and I think she was a little bummed that I didn’t finish them before we got hit by the cold spell earlier in the week.

I used KnitPicks Elegance, which is 70% baby alpaca and 30% silk.  The yarn held the cables well, and the mitts will keep her warm on the coldest days in Texas.  On the down-side, the final product seems just a tad hairy.  Also, the mitts bled when I blocked them.  Still, the final mitts are gorgeous, and I’m sure I’ll be using Elegance again.
