We just got home to Texas. Alan insisted on driving through the night so we could just get it over with.
Every day, while we were gone, I checked our voice mail. EVery day, that is, except for Tuesday (funeral) and Wednesday (driving).
I just tried to check the voice mail again. I now get a recording. “We’re sorry. That number is no longer in service.” or something to that effect!
Hubby insists that we haven’t gotten a bill. (I believe him because he has always admitted when he screwed up a bill before, no matter how badly he screwed it up.)
The going theory is that SBC disconnected all phone services rather than just the DSL services. But I won’t know until 8 AM because their flipping customer support office doesn’t open until then.
