I don’t know if I’ve technically failed at Project 365 or not. I took pictures. I just didn’t post them on the right day.
I figure that there are no knitting police, so I’m going to keep going.
First yesterday’s picture… I’ve been taking a picture of the gas pump every time I fill up this year. Alone, the pictures mean little, but they’re telling me something important about my budget if nothing else.
According to my pile of pictures, I’ve only filled up three times this year. That’s three times in three months! I’m totally amazed. Part of the reason for the infrequency of refueling is that we’ve had multiple extended breaks during which I don’t travel too far. The other reason is that I just don’t run around that much, and when I do, it’s not too far from home. There has been so much development around here that I kind of feel like, “If I have to travel more than 15 minutes for it, I just don’t need it that badly!”
That’s great for me. Bad for the oil-producing countries!
And now for today’s shot. It’s something that you don’t see every day, but I’ve seen it two days in a row.
I guess that’s one way to get from one end of the Metroplex to the other without dealing with Stadium traffic and construction!
