End of year exhaustion

It’s definitely approaching the end of the school year! Now that the state required tests are over, the kids are starting to breathe freely. That wouldn’t be so bad except they are also acting as if nothing else matters. We’re starting to have almost daily talks with them about behavior, good and bad choices, etc.

I still have so much to do before the year is over. I think I’m approximately 2.25 months behind where I should be. I got behind earlier in the year due to knew hardware deliveries. There have also been extra programs to work on due to some major events that have involved the school. Somehow, I’ve got to catch up. Anyone have a time-turner handy?

I spent some time tonight with my friends Joy and Wendy. We stopped at Pei Wei for dinner. I’d never been there before, but it was yummy enough that I’m sure I’ll be back.

Then we went to Barnes & Noble to partake in their coffee and WiFi. Both Joy and Wendy needed some pointers on how to get GoodReader for the iPad to talk to Ravelry without going through a web browser. The info is easily found online, I’m sure, but it was a good excuse to spend time with friends!

Now I’m home, and I’m so tired. Is it bad that all I want to do for Mother’s Day is sit at home and knit?

I just ate at a Pei Wei for the first time last fall. OMG – SO good!!!!

I couldn’t decide what to get for a long time because everything looked so good. And affordable even for the chick who had been unemployed for most of the year!
